Vale Corporal Tom Killen NX11657


We have been advised that Tom, aged 99, passed away on 29th April, 2015. 


Our thoughts and prayers are extended to his family, friends and to all those that loved him.

Tom enlisted on the 29th March, 1940 at Paddington NSW and served with 2/9 Commando Squadron.  Other basic details of Tom's war service can be viewed here

Bill's daughter has advised that Bill, aged 97, passed away on 7th January, 2015.

Eric, aged 92, passed away in Daylesford Hospital at 4.00pm on Sunday 8th February, 2015. 


He had been in hospital since 2nd December 2014.


A Thanking Service for Eric's life was held on Friday, 13th February, 2015 at 3.00pm at the Daylesford Anglican Church.  The service booklet can be viewed here.


Our thoughts and prayers are extended to his wife Gwen, family, friends and to all those that loved him.

Vale Oscar (Ossie) Pomroy NX202915

Ossie's son has notified that Ossie passed away on the 31st January, 2015 at Coffs Harbour at the age of 90 after a long illness.

Ossie was born on the 15th February, 1924 and enlisted at Lismore NSW on the 12th January, 1944.  He was discharged on the 18th September, 1946 having served in B Troop 2/10 Commando Squadron.  On discharge Ossie had achieved the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2.   Post war Ossie served in the NSW Police Force rising to the rank of Chief Inspector.

Trevor Limb passed away peacefully in his sleep on 7th August 2014   

Love, thoughts and Prayers are with his family and all those who loved him.

A Memorial Service for Trevor was held at the Queenscliff RSL at 2 pm on Wednesday, 20th August, 2014.   The family have given their permission for the Service Booklet to be posted on the website.   This gives a detailed account of Trevor's personal life and of his Service History.  It can be viewed here.
