Susan was elected to the office of Secretary 2/6 Cavalry Commando Association(Vic.) at the Annual General Meeting held at the Highett R.S.L. on Saturday 18/04/2009 and again at Caulfield RSL AGM 24/04/2010 and again at Fairfield RSL 2011.
On 25/04/2012 at Fairfield RSL AGM Susan was elected President with unanimous acclaim and has been re-elected President in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Born on the fifth of July 1960 ten years after the last of her four brothers,Robert,Geoff, Bill and Bruce, Winifred finally produced a daughter, to the great delight of Osie, as he expresses in his book "The Green Fields of Kastina" "One of the greatest moments in our lives"
Began a short career as a model
Susan accompanied Osie to reunions and on ANZAC Day Marches and became a familiar face and a popular attendee at association functions.
Following so close in her father's footsteps, Susan served as a Soldier. That was not easy in 1979.
