Edition 94 October 2014 PDF Print E-mail

Greetings to all Cav News Readers from The Victorian Association

Only a few quick words from me this edition as our Secretary and Treasurer Robert Stafford has covered all bases very well since the last edition a short time ago.

We were sad to lose Trevor Limb recently and extend our sympathy and heartfelt support to Daryl, Michael, Peter and Carol and their families at this sad and difficult time. (Read Website Vale  for Trevor here

On Saturday Oct 4th we plan to hold a special Afternoon tea from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs at the Livingstone Community Centre in Ivanhoe. The main focus is on members who find it difficult to get to our other events and therefore we plan to pick up people from home.  More on this in the next edition. (See report and photos here)

As there will not be another edition of Cav News until next year I would like to take this early opportunity to wish all readers a very blessed, peaceful and Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy and safe 2015!

Now please enjoy reading some updates over the page from our veteran Keith Johnston (read Keith's latest report here) who keeps in touch with many members on a regular basis.

Thank you Keith for all the great work you do and for all the joy and friendship you offer to others!
