Heather was a long serving Committee Member of the Victorian Association.  The Committee farewelled her in September 2017 just prior to her relocating with daughter Danielle back to her beloved home state of Tasmania.   Her new address in Margate was only a short drive from sister Josie Andrews.

The following link includes tributes made to Heather on her retirement from the Committee from the current Association President and Secretary/Treasurer.  These tributes were published in Cavalry News Edition 100 soon after Heather relocated to Tasmania.  Here you will also see images from two of our Associations major events held in 2012, the year that Heather was elected Secretary.  View here.

Details of a Farewell to Heather provided by sister Josie Andrews:

"Saturday 14 July at 1 pm onwards; Unity Church, 4 Renown Street, Burwood.  Colourful, happy clothing and outlandish or bright earrings.  In lieu of flowers people can bring non perishable food the church donates to a local refugee group. That is the church where the priest is one of Heather's oldest friends from school and forever, Bill Livingston."
